Beautiful and spacious with an amazing view of the harbor. Location was the reason we chose to stay in the hotel. Restaurants, shopping and attractions were only a short walk. The room was luxurious and well furnished. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Amazing stay. Ambience, staff, flower arrangements, food, building, all exceptional. A special mention must be given to the cleaning staff, even my husband went around exclaiming how the brass work shone and was completely free of finger marks. I took a photo of the mirrored coffee table in which the ceiling is reflected perfectly. Well done housekeeping!

We were greeted warmly on arrival. The staff member Bruce was exceptionally kind and helpful. We stayed in Halifax in order to attend a family wedding in Cape Breton. We had rooms near each other on our first visit, but not on our second visit.

Such an amazing history, with the fort, historic buildings, working waterfront and location. The Art Museum had interesting displays of local and indigenous art. The Maritime Museum had excellent displays, models and a section on the Titanic. The waterfront was miles long with walking areas, shops, and restaurants. I was able to walk to things in the downtown in 15 - 20 minutes.

The reception was good and as I was there for a short time, the staff were helpful to give me advice on things I could do and where I could go for shopping. The room was clean and warm and that made my stay enjoyable. The distance from the airport and the shuttle services were appropriate for me.

Walking along the streets and along the harbour road taking in the vintage houses is lovely, eating at the Salt Shaker and Beach Pea (tip eat early by 5:00), kayaking at nearby Blue Rocks, and walking the beaches at Hirtle Beach and Kingsburg Beach were all favourites.

Lots of interesting places to visit , everyone is super friendly and welcoming. On the way to Inverness, the beach is one of the best places. The lighthouse in Cheticamp isn’t worth the drive in the gravel road, and not the nicest lighthouse, there are many others.

We stayed in Truro to attend the Saturday morning farmers market. Great market. First time in Truro. Impressed, very nice place, friendly people, beautiful old buildings. We ate supper at Pizza Delight. Very nice. Friendly staff. We had breakfast at McDonald's. All good. Our motel was easy walking distance to restaurants.

We LOVED our accommodations, the quiet and the beach!

We LOVED our accommodations, the quiet and the beach! Most restaurant food was very good. Loved whale watching and the gondola. Would have like a continental breakfast as there were no restaurants within walking distance. Also, restaurants close too early and many ran out of food so decided to close! 150 people at the pizza place (because no place else was open with availability) on a Sunday wasn’t fun.

Sydney is a town with many interesting buildings and things to do. The harbour front is interesting to visit as is the Titanic museum. The Memorial University campus is very expansive and its botanical gardens a site to see. The streets are a bit confusing to navigate by car but a map helps! We ate several times at the Newfoundland Embassy which serves pub meals and at Boston Pizza where the atmosphere is comfortable and the fish and chips excellent!

I loved the small town vibe, along with the welcoming and friendly spirit of this quaint, sweet place! I was there to watch my son compete in the Special Olympic Summer Games and also took in some sightseeing. Enjoyed the market and Peace By Chocolate! I also squeezed in a bit of Pomquet beach in the outskirts of Antigonish!!!
