Overall would rate this hotel and its amenities as one of the best . Sorry forgot to mention great restaurant just next door that had delicious food . Right by the tidal bore . Highly recommend

United StatesClean, comfy and decent food for a quick one night stay! We sat in the bar and had a light meal after a long day of travel. The hotel suited us perfectly and actually would be very comfortable for a longer stay as well. I will certainly look for these properties in the future.

In the winter, much like many Maritime towns/cities there is very little to do. However, in the summer the city is alive with many outside areas with attractions and outside dining. If you can visit on a nice sunny summer day you will surely enjoy the area.

Nice little city - not too busy, easy to navigate.
Nice little city - not too busy, easy to navigate. Lots of breweries and restaurants, walkable downtown area, easy street parking that is free on evenings and weekends. Great Saturday market. We went to Moncton for the Pride festival and it was awesome. Highly recommend Lost & Found ice cream, Happy brewery, and the Riverfront park.

We came to Moncton because of its proximity to Hopewell...
We came to Moncton because of its proximity to Hopewell Rocks. We were impressed with the river walkway, neighborhood parks, and abundance of restaurants near our hotel. Despite a very rainy day which coincided with New Brunswick day, we still found plenty to do and places to go for lunch (highly recommend Tide and Boar Gastropub) and a drink later in the day.

Not much to do, so not really a go-to place, but it's...
Not much to do, so not really a go-to place, but it's located along the way if you're travelling between national parks, so you can use having a few restaurants and cafes to choose from. And a nice ice-cream shop. Basically a good stop for the evening and night.

I had a friend who lives over there that has retired and...
I had a friend who lives over there that has retired and worked with Parks Canada. He took me for a tour one evening. There is so much over there. That seems so hard to find. I couldn’t find it the next day with my wife. We drove around a bit, but not too used to the city and the traffic but I was amazed at what he had showed me and how much you have done for the town or the city.

The sites and atmosphere were top notch, excluding the hotel Tavel lodge. Avoid at all cost.
IHOP and Zoo top the list and with the ocean being so close. Who needs anything else? The down town core, exceptional. The views from mountain road! Incredible!! You need more than a vacation to see and take it all in. Looking forward to calling this one home. ❤️🤗😉❤️

We were inquiring about Vegan options for breakfast and were completely surprised and delighted when the front desk staff pulled out a duotang folder containing a whole vegan breakfast menu. Everything from oat milk to Just Egg and Yves breakfast sausage! Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us.
Upon checking out I told them it was too bad that Amsterdam Inn was a hotel chain operating only in New Brunswick

House was located in a quiet neighbourhood across from a lake with walking trails. The house was only about 8 minutes drive to downtown Moncton, which made it easy to get to events, shops, etc. Lots of free street parking available. We felt safe in the neighbourhood.
The price was the cheapest rate in Moncton by far (there was a big concert that weekend).

Enjoyed the pool area and hot tub. Room was very comfortable and the king size bed was great! Breakfast had lots of great choices! Over all I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.
