Perfect stay. Room was huge and very clean. Delicious European breakfast (breads, butter, jam, cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, coffee and juices). Parking in front of the hotel. Owner super nice! Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our stay. There is an Italian restaurant just in front of the hotel and a small supermarket.

We had a top floor room (14) with a lovely view of the lake and the 2 castles. We had our own balcony too. The spacious room was typical of the area, very natural and traditional. The shower was hot and powerful and the beds comfortable. We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff, notable the owner who is a great English speaker and Angela. The breakfast was also amazing with a good range of fresh produce and breads, cold meats and cheeses to name but a few. The whole place is incredibly relaxed and a view to die for. We went on a nice boat trip around the lake for 17 Euro which was lovely. Definitely a must place to stay if you want to visit the Fussen area.
