The hostal is at a perfect location, on top of a hill looking over the multi-coloured mountains. The staff - all of them - are genuinely amazing. We initially booked 2 nights, but we both got sick so had to stay longer, and it was the perfect place to do so. The staff checked in on us multiple times a day to see if we needed anything or if they could do anything for us 🥹 for which we are forever grateful. The room was very very clean, and got cleaned every morning. The shower is hot and has good water pressure and the beds are very comfortable. As others already stated, this was also our best breakfast in 4 months of traveling through South America. There also is a cute rooftop terrace to chill and have breakfast while watching the beautiful mountains. 10/10 I would recommend everyone to stay here!

Pumahuasi Hostal Boutique ligger i ett charmigt hus i kolonialstil med utsikt över bergen. Här erbjuds rum med varm inredning och plasma-TV i Purmamarca. Parkering är gratis. The Pumahuasi was hands down the loveliest place I stayed over a month in Argentina. It has a 'homestay' feel - small number of rooms, all on ground floor. My room was huge, well shaded and quiet, with access to a small garden space with lovely views, not to mention a foyer area and large bathroom. So plenty of space for your luggage here! Beautiful garden courtyard with off-street parking. Very handy for main bars/ restaurants of Purmamarca, well placed for short/ easy circular walk round this astonishingly gorgeous mountain village. Top marks.

Very peaceful, just steps from the downtown. Wonderful sleep in the fresh air and comfortable bed. Little stove top for coffee in morning or quick meal. Highly recommend!

Exceptional place - just beautiful. We had a lovely stay - beautiful garden and surroundings, friendly staff, comfy bed, and super clean rooms. Breakfast was great - with eggs cooked to order. Wished we stayed longer! A rare gem!
