Holger and his wife Betty are the best hosts taking care of all details to make sure we had an amazing stay. The hotel, the common areas and the rooms are so unique and the surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was a wonderful and delicious experience. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The owners were on site and spent time talking to us about things to do and the history of the area. Michelle (the owner) thought of everything - water in the fridge, cups plates and napkins and cutlery, and mosquito repellant so we could sit outside at night, the treats from the local bakery were an added touch. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was there and more, Mini Fitness (which we would have used if we had stayed longer), postcard sendings, Coffee & snacks (kids were super happy!)

We came to Baddeck to hike the Cabot Trail. This location was perfect as it is right at the entrance to the park. There are lots of little restaurants all within walking distance. The Inn is very well appointed. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable.

Located on the edge of town, however Chéticamp is such a long spread out town it doesn’t matter. Lovely basic room, very comfortable, very much appreciated small assortment of chocolate and sweets to welcome us. Nice kitchenette. Best breakfast that we had on our trip. Great find.

The room was clean and well arranged, with nice views of the lake outside. The host prepared fresh blueberry pancakes in the morning, which were delicious.

Boasting a terrace, bar and views of sea, Castle Rock Country Inn is situated in Ingonish Beach, 1.6 km from Ingonish Beach. the stuff the location/ the room. in short words excellent.
