Plenty of room for our family of 4. Very clean. Great terrace. Super delicious breakfast at a reasonable price was served to our room. The host was very kind and helpful. Situated in the car-free Wengen in the Jungfrau Region, Hotel Berghaus enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Bernese Alps. I can’t wait to go back here! The property is located close enough to Wengen train station & town, & 3-4 minutes from the cable car, yet far enough to get some peace & quiet. Each room has a balcony with a lovely view. It was spotless & cleaned each day with fresh towels replaced. The host, Martina is wonderful. She was warm & welcoming, and gave me lots of great tips for hiking & sightseeing. Their continental breakfast was excellent! Soft, freshly baked bread and croissants each morning from the local bakery with fresh cut up fruits & plenty of options for vegans & vegetarians for a healthy & hearty breakfast, served with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. 10/10 recommended.

Rooms were spacious, authentic and comfortable, bathroom was lovely, best personal grooming mirrors ever seen.

The Hotel Steinbock is located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen opposite the train and cable car station for Grütschalp, Mürren and the Schilthorn. Rooms better than expected. Recently remodeled. Awesome view. Excellent location. Kind staff. Next time I come back to Switzerland, I would rather return there instead of staying somewhere else.
