The staff were very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. When the heating in one of the rooms didn’t work, they immediately brought us a portable radiator. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary coffee, even though breakfast was not included in our booking. Despite our late arrival, the team kindly greeted us and accompanied us to our rooms to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The rooms themselves are newly renovated, very clean, and beautifully designed. Highly recommend !

Located in Triengen, 31 km from Lucerne Station, Gasthaus zum Rössli provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Very friendly people! I came quite last-minute but they had my room ready. It was large with a good bathroom, very clean and a good bed. Included breakfast was way too much for one person, but better too much than too little. Free parking as well. The single-occupancy price was very good for Switzerland standards which made this perfect for me. I cannot comment on regular pricing.

This hotel is situated in Meggen, just 700 metres away from Lake Lucerne. It offers an Italian restaurant with garden terrace. All rooms have a bathroom and cable TV. The bed was comfortable and the food was very good. I recommend the breakfast. The coffee was excellent.

The Sonnenberg Hotel in Kriens offers panoramic views over Lake Lucerne, the mountains and the forest, a Nespresso machine in every room, seasonal cuisine and free WiFi. Absolutely stunning views, great location near Kriens (where gondolas and cable car to Pilatus leave from), comfortable rooms with lovely views and balcony with chairs and table, free minigolf and playground, free fruit for guests, ample free parking and 2 x 22KW chargers for electric cars. Last but not least, a fabulous and v reasonable Michelin quality fine dining menu in the restaurant (with wine from a vineyard we could see from the terrasse). Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Luzern region

This cosy and quiet hotel is only a 5-minute drive from Lucerne and a 2-minute walk from the Rotsee lake, world-famous for its rowing regattas. Big room, quiet hotel nice simple breakfast.

Boasting a terrace, a restaurant as well as a bar, KB CityRooms Self-Check-In is situated in the centre of Luzern, 700 metres from Lucerne Station. Smooth check in/out. Great location. Clean. Felt welcoming with water in the fridge on a warm day. There was coffe tea.. huge pillows😁 There is a bar under but the windows kept the noise out.

Opened in 2012, Gasthaus zum Ochsen in Grosswangen, a 20-minute drive from Lucerne, offers you fine Mediterranean cuisine and modern rooms with flat-screen cable TV and free WiFi and free private... The manager and all the staff were amazingly responsive to anything we needed. We asked for an extra fan because it was during a heat wave and they sent one to our room before we even arrived back from our activities for the day. When our 3-year-old left his stuffed animal, they found it and mailed it back to us. Breakfast was tailored to our group size, tasty, and ready at a time we prearranged - and all for a very affordable price - especially in Switzerland. We stayed in the apartment, which had a well-equipped kitchen, new IKEA furniture, and plenty of space for our large group.
