Typical Ticino-style Pensione Olanda is 1 km from the Madonna del Sasso pilgrimage church, and features garden and a terrace, furnished with deckchairs and offering panoramic views of Locarno and Lake... Really lovely place with many thoughtful touches. My room had a lovely view as did the terrace. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of homemade jams, dips and cake. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Situated right at the lake promenade, only a few steps from the ship mooring and Locarno's Piazza Grande, the Al Pozz offers you superb views of Lake Maggiore. It’s a charming, small hotel beside Lake Maggiore. There’s on-site parking and it’s a very short walk to the centre of Locarno or to the ferry terminal to towns further afield.

So many great things about this hotel! The location is spectacular!!! The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, especially the pizza. Breakfast had lots of options. The room was clean and comfortable. The room view looked towards the famous church on the hill and terra cotta roof tops. There didn't seem to be hot water for showering the evening I was there. Not sure why that was, as I didn't ask. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Overall, fantastic value for the money. I very highly recommend this hotel. I hope to visit Morcote again. When I do, I will stay here again.

Small but very nice and cozy comfortable room. Simple but good breakfast. Tasty bread. They serve great local wine and during the weekend there was a small food market nearby.

The hotel is located on a hill with a wonderful view of the neighboring towns, villages, lakes and mountains. The owner of the hotel is a great person. If I visit this part of Switzerland again, I will definitely return to this place.

Set in Tesserete, 8.3 km from Lugano Station, Ristorante Stazione offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Fantastic place. For sure simpler than a big name hotel but super friendly, clean and comfortable. For me it was the perfect place to stay in a beautiful area. Super happy.
