The staff was amazing, greeting you in the morning and welcoming after a day trip. Food from the chef was delicious and from local ingredients or outright homemade including a taste of amarro. :) We were going on trips during the day and always perfectly recharched in Osteria Grütli in the evening. Higher altitude was perfect for good night sleep.

So many great things about this hotel! The location is spectacular!!! The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, especially the pizza. Breakfast had lots of options. The room was clean and comfortable. The room view looked towards the famous church on the hill and terra cotta roof tops. There didn't seem to be hot water for showering the evening I was there. Not sure why that was, as I didn't ask. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Overall, fantastic value for the money. I very highly recommend this hotel. I hope to visit Morcote again. When I do, I will stay here again.

Ristorante Vedeggio features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Isone. Late arrival was no issue, just as making me a great steak. Lot's of attention for my little dog, they took good care of. Breakfast was good and I was ready for the rest of the trip. In daylight I then noticed the awesome location of the village. Breathtaking!

Small but very nice and cozy comfortable room. Simple but good breakfast. Tasty bread. They serve great local wine and during the weekend there was a small food market nearby.
