The setting is lovely in a cosy little village surrounded by well kept houses, a church, pretty gardens and various cows and sheep. The place was pristine in its cleanliness and the owners kind, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was generous with a great variety of everything one could wish for in terms of bread, cold meats, cheeses and jams. We stayed twice for dinner as the menu was decent with local specialties and service swift and very attentive. We had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely return.

The owner of this property has been the friendliest on our trip. Extremely welcome and helpful and really is what makes this hotel. She offered to help us pack up some of her breakfast to take with us on the rheinsteig, which was extremely helpful for us. We also appreciated the cozy restaurant downstairs for food and the water and chocolates left in the room. Earplugs were provided due to proximity to the train which wasn’t a problem for us.

Staff were great and very helpful, food in the restaurant was excellent and a decent price too. Secure lock up for my bike. Breakfast was excellent, fresh cooked omelette by the owner, quality.

This inn is centrally located in Cochem, right by the pedestrian area. Hotel Osteria Del Vino Cochem features free WiFi and wine specialities.
