This was a magical journey. Because we were so satisfied with this hotel, we extended our stay several times, unexpectedly spending eight days in Cairo. These adjustments led to many unique experiences. Thanks to the hitel boss; it's clear they put a lot of care into running this hotel. The rooms were spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly, and a mother and daughter cat in the lobby were absolutely adorable. The hotel's location is perfect, right next to the pyramids. I also highly recommend a short walk northeast leads to a very local commercial area where you can experience authentic Egyptian life. If you want to go into the city, a five-minute walk north to the second intersection offers many minibuses. Just confirm with the driver that they're going in the "metro" direction to reach the Giza metro station, which connects to all parts of the city. Tickets only cost 7-9 Egyptian pounds.
