This place was excellent! It was close to Avila. The room was spacious and the hotel itself is an old home that was remodeled with modern conveniences that included a restaurant with excellent food & service. The steak was delicious and so were the appetizers and dessert! We even were treated to an after dinner drink. You can also ha e breakfast there too before ypu head into Avila.The view of the countryside was a definite plus!

Situated 35 km from Castillo de La Mota, Casa Rural La Casa de Las Manuelas offers 4-star accommodation in Horcajo de las Torres and has a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. An interesting house which appears much bigger on the inside compared wit the exterior and decorated in Spanish style. We had a fairly large room with a big comfortable bed and nice bed linen and a bathroom with a spa bath which looked a bit complicated for me! The host, Angel, was welcoming and friendly cooked a delicious meal of meat over the coals in the lovely courtyard. His partner cooked for us the next night, again over the coals. A good breakfast was served in a small dining room which had a large window overlooking the street and the church. He suggested we visit Madrigal de las Altas Torres - just 5 mins drive up the road. This intriguing village is well worth a visit.
