There is a place for baby can play and people could eat in the room. The location to the temple is incredible close. The bus stop is also just nearby. Nice place and warm. BTW, you could get water and drinks in the lobby. Super!

We had such a wonderful stay, it's a simple yet beautiful guesthouse, with everything you need and a few lovely surprises, including the cosy communal space and garden for relaxing after a long day exploring. We had everything we needed and Tony was an amazing host, all of his suggestions for activities, food and day trips ended up being the favourite elements of our trip and we met great people along the way!

Fantastic location in a quiet street, city centre within walking distance. Some cute shops, cafes, restaurants nearby. 7-Eleven convenience store in 5min walking distance. Room was comfy, quiet, and had all the essentials. The owners were so polite, kind and accommodating. They truly created a beautiful space there. The breakfast was excellent and we recommend adding it to your reservation.

The location is simply perfect. You just need to step out early in the morning to see the streets of Gion without crowds. Kiyomizu-dera is a short walk away. The room is quite spacious compared to regular Japanese hotels. The interiors are quite nice.
