Very good contact with the personel, they answer messages quickly and were very accommodating, allowing me self-check in because I wanted to arrive a bit later. Good localisation, close to the river so I could take a walk with dogs. Clean room, quite basic, but bed was comfy, hot shower.

Comfortable, good location, clean, helpful even after check-out with luggage storage, there's a kitchen, there's a laundry room for a small fee, I found the place really convenient. I liked everything, cannot relate to the bad reviews at all. There are some reviews saying the owners weren't easy to contact. Maybe it's best to contact a few days before check-in to make sure you have all info about check-in procedures in time. If you come with big luggage it might be uncomfortable because there's a 15-20min walk from the train station or from the nearest bus stop and there are stairs in the house. I only had a backpack so for me it was just a lovely walk. My room was on the second floor, the bed was comfortable, the blankets were warm and comfy. I didn't need to turn on the heating. The shower room was clean, aired and well kept. The toilet downstairs and the toilet next to the kitchen were also very clean. The best for me was the terasse outside the kitchen, had my coffee there while watching the greenery, the birds and the airplanes landing, loved it! I also loved the walk along the stream to get to the old center. Will definitely try to book this place again on my next visit to Luxembourg!

A very welcoming host, who had a garage to lock up our bicycles, helped carry our bags to our room and invited us to his Birthday dinner. The room was large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very nice, cold meats, cheese, jam, bread rolls, boiled eggs and coffee. Certainly recommend Gasthof Schmidt.

It's such a cute little village, away from everything else. The owner was very friendly and they have a sweet garden with fish. breakfast was also really nice and wholesome.
