On arrival we were offered a complimentary glass of Sekt. All of the staff we engaged with were friendly, helpful and offered good advice. Our room was superb, more like a suite really, with entrance lobby (containing the wardrobes), a large bedroom with king size bed, two armchairs and desk, and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. A complimentary bottle of water was provided daily. The continental breakfast was good with plenty of variety. The hotel has a restaurant attached which we ate in on two evenings. The food was very good and heavily meat based. I tried the horse steak and venison goulash both were very good. They also serve three styles of local Trier beer and a selection of Moselle wines. When we left we were offered a complimentary jar of local orange preserve. Location wise the hotel is approximately a 10 minute walk from the main train station. It is located in a quiet street just off of the main pedestrian area. The Haupt-Steipe Markt, the Cathedral and Porta Nigra are all within a 5 minute walk. The Kaiserthermen (Roman Imperial Baths) are a 12 minute walk away. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Trier.

from the moment we arrived we could not have had a better experience. The physical building is beautiful, the rooms are very well equipped. fabulous linen, comfy bed. the staff were incredibly accommodating. we were late arriving and had a dinner reservation but they happily encouraged us to take time for an aperitif on the terrace. nothing was rushed. the restaurant is the jewel in the crown. absolutely exceptional local produce beautifully cooked and an amazing array of wine to choose from. an incredible experience from start to finish.

This time the SPA crew members passed the exam and practically saved my husband's life. We will never forget what you have done. Big, big THANK YOU! I would like to also thanks to the reception people, to make it easy and help me with everything. The hotel itself was beautiful, very clean, quaiet, well equipped and comfy. Variety of SPA facility and treatments was amazing (the chocolate wrap was memorable!) Hospitality on the top level. BRASSERIE MAUS KÄTTI offer delicious food and serves you with a smile and warmth. I recommend Villa Welcome and Mondorf domaine thermal from the bottom of my heart. 💜

Easy check-in, we came late but had good service for our car, a nice meal with good service and plenty of choice. The staff is just wonderful, helpful and kind. Our room was clean. spacious and with comfortable beds. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the calm and nice spa area. This is a lovely part of Europe to have a quick stop or a longer rest.

Great design of the hotel, wood concrete and glass. Fantastic spacious room, with partly covered terrace overlooking the vineyard and pool area. Pool area is very zen, with chlorine free water. Good shower. Loads of cupboard space. Definitely one to come back to. We would have liked to stay longer, however the place was fully booked.

Luxembourg City is small enough to see most of it in a day or two, with a charming city centre, interesting places to visit and lots of parks and greenery. Trams (free) are quick and easy to use for getting to places a little further away. We visited the cathedral, the roof top view from above Gallery Lafayette, the casements, the park and the very dramatic 'pfaffenthal ascenseur panoramic' up & down from the old to the new town, plus lots of general walking around.

Mondorf-les-Bains is a charming town with over 5,000 inhabitants located near the Luxembourg Moselle River. Home to the only casino and the only spa and fitness center in the Grand Duchy, it benefits from all the advantages of a big city: -Everything close to home, -Easily accessible by public transport, -Many leisure and recreational opportunities, -Fascinating architecture and cultural heritage, -Many shops, A wide selection of hotels and restaurants. In short, an ideal place to relax and recharge every day.

We technically stayed in Orscholz, which is a smaller hamelt of Mettlach. It's right where the Saarschleife is as well as a number of biking and hiking trails. We only did the Saarschleife and the Spielplatz, but could have spent a couple days there!

Big green parks, vineyards on the slopes, friendly people, beautiful lake with ducks and white swans. Interesting to find a small vine in front of most garages or front doors where we walked. Not many cars so it was easy to walk everywhere. Easy to get around as public transport is free and you just have to check the time table of the bus routes. The Peking Duck, fried rice and fried noodles are delicious at White Swan, the beef is mouth watering. The Italian restaurant on the left serves good Italian food. We met friends in Remich where we ate great pizzas. And we went wine tasting and walked on the bridge which connects with Germany. 😊

There are not a lot of actual places to visit but the city...

There are not a lot of actual places to visit but the city overall is picturesque and there are great views and walks , good bars, cafes and restaurants and shops. Would recommend a walking tour around Ville Haute ( old town) on day one to hear the history and get orientated . Would also recommend getting out of the city using the free public transport . We enjoyed a day trip to Remich where we visited a couple of the wine producers and enjoyed a tour of the caves and some wine tasting followed by lunch looking across the Moselle river to Germany and vineyards. We also used the free bus service to and from the airport which was reliable and easy plus free trams within the City although the city is mostly easily walkable.

A truly amazing hotel, staff and spa facilities everything including the weather was perfect. The health box at the poolside bar lovely. The peeling sauna great! The Dolce Vita restaurant great italian food and good value. The villa welcome great hotel.

Mettlach is a charming small town in Germany with many good shops. The church is also impressive. There are a lot of very nice hikes easily accessible from there offering tranquility and interesting landscape alongside the river Saar, for example. Burg Montclair, the remains of a castle on the hill, is also accessible and you can get coffee and cake until the end of October.

Lovely town - although there seems to be a restless...

Lovely town - although there seems to be a restless immigrant population around the train station. Many young males from N Africa hanging around with nothing to do. The police were on alert. I saw no crimes, but the atmosphere was one of illicit activity and tension.

This is an upscale spa where guests can go to get away from it all and get pampered in a variety of ways with excellent food and all the necessary comforts. We used it as our home base to see family and attend the Formula 1 at Spa Franchorchamps. It is totally suitable for spa activities, just staying at a wonderful hotel for other reasons, and to get away from it all.

A quiet place with all we needed.

A quiet place with all we needed. A good place to do sightseeing, by bike, on foot, by car. Great place to be in the garden as well. Not a lot of eating places but the kitched is well equiped. You can easily cycle into Luxembourgh or France.
