The property and staff were absolutely wonderful. The restaurant and bar had delicious food and the service was great. It was my mom's birthday and we fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. Honestly the best ocean view room in mazunte you could ask for ! Thank you for making my mom's birthday so memorable!

It was nice to have the extra space to sit on the patio and a kitchen that you could use, including all the cooking supplies and fridge. the room was as expected for the price. Air conditioned. no hot water which was not a problem. Mario was always around to answer questions and helped us when it was time to leave by driving us to the bus station. I would stay there again.

Chente's Place is the place to stay if you're headed to Barra and looking to score. Al is the man. He's down there every day shooting clips of everyone surfing and as a local knows everyone in town and the water. Chente's has super fast Star Link internet if you need to hop online, air conditioned rooms (which you'll need - it's hot), and really good coffee every morning. Couldn't be more stoke to have stayed at Chente's and will be coming back.

Samora Luxury Resort has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Santa María Colotepec. Beautiful property, the gardens are immaculate and well kept, very peaceful atmosphere. The pool is the standout feature and it’s stunning. The location is on a private beach, amazing sunsets - it’s about a 30 min taxi in to the town but once at the resort you won’t want to leave!

I stayed here with my friends and it was the perfect home base to explore Mazunte. We were so close to the beach and even to San Agustanillo. The owners were very kind and came to help us right away when we accidently locked ourselves out of the room at night. The AC was absolutely the best. Water pressure could be better but that's how it is in these small towns. Overall it was clean and a great location!
