The staff is so welcoming, kind and caring. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well decorated. It felt like home! There is a personal touch in every aspect of the experience. Even breakfast is made to order and there are home baked goods made by 3 lovely chefs!! Wish we could stay the whole summer!

It was excellent. Brandon was great, and made delicious breakfast every day. The Primrose Inn is located perfectly in Bar Harbor and Acadia national park is only a short drive away. It is definitely worth a visit in winter when the town and park are gorgeous but not very busy!

Also an easy walk over the bridge to Portsmouth, NH. Can't wait to go back and experience this location in different seasons.

When we arrived, someone gave us a tour of the hotel. Subsequently, she suggested places to visit or eat, and remained available for our questions. plus there was always freshly prepared food on the table. it was very warm. in addition to the smell of the hotel which was very pleasant. Ultimately, the meals were very good. it was homemade food made with love. they were very respectful of my gluten allergy. If we visit again, this hotel is gonna be our first choice!

Set in Kennebunkport, less than 1 km from Goochs Beach, The Harbor Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. I rented four rooms on one floor for four groomsmen and their wives. I did not stay there to try the beds. The wedding reception was across the street. The groomsmen and wives raved about the comfort, effort to accommodate a late arrival, the breakfast and congeniality of the owner. They not only raved to the parents who made the arrangements but by the end of the reception across the street approx 30% of the wedding guests heard the positive reviews and repeated the information to other wedding attendees. The groomsmen could walk to the reception. Not all of them had experienced a b&b so harbor inn was a gentle first exposure. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We are parents of the groom and the harbor inn cared for my son’s friends exceptionally even with a few unexpected detours.
