The Great North is a true gem! The revamped interior is stunning, from rooms to restaurant, with beautiful decor in every corner, impressive photography on the walls, and gorgeous lighting fixtures - truly reminiscent of the most stylish hotels in metropolitan cities. The gardens are gorgeous, the staff warm and welcoming, and even our 6-year-old felt at home everywhere. Dinner was delicious with the right variety of tasty, locally-sourced dishes, and the breakfast buffet was a feast — fresh, diverse, including a juice maker and cooked-to-order eggs. Our beds were super comfortable, even the fold-out one for our daughter. The indoor walkway to the thermal baths was a welcome convenience, and we had a great time playing in the water and relaxing at the exceptional sauna & spa. Stylish, friendly, and perfectly relaxing, with exceptional attention to every detail — we’ll be back!

The entire hotel is wonderful!

The house was very clean, and everything we needed was in place. It had a very beautiful yard and was convenient and safe for children. The barbecue area was well arranged. It is close to the Garstedt metro station, and the walk there was pleasant. It takes about 30 minutes by metro to reach the city center. Special thanks to the attentive host. If I come to Hamburg again, I will definitely book this house again.
