All aspects of the hotel were top-notch. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant twice and we had breakfast three mornings where the quality of the food and the staff were great. Finally, the location for our visit was brilliant with 5 minutes walk to the centre of town. Not to mention a fantastic lakeside location for great walks, runs and cycling.

Great views over the lake from the breakfast table. We enjoyed the spa with indoor swimming, an outdoor hot Jacuzzi, a Viking shower (cold water bucket), a sauna, and a steam bath (pic from our hotel room shows the outdoor spa facilities). It turned to a rainy day, so heading to Mønsted Kalkgruber (lime mines) was terrific and one of the highlights of our tour. Endless caves with magical light. Eventually, you can be lucky to have a room on the back! The building(s) seems new, the room was bright, large and clean, almost in pristine condition, there is also a small table with two chairs in front of your door if you want to stay outside. Inside, you can find a fridge, tv and a kettle with some herbal teas and coffee, nice and large bathroom as well. No carpet inside, for me this is a plus! :)

Especially the bathroom was really beautiful,as a clean & fully equipped bathroom is always my weakness & first thing that makes my impression regarding the place. The bathtub, spa everything was perfect. The lady at the reception while checking in and the one responsible for breakfast were amazingly pleasant.

Had it been winter, we would have used the in-room sauna and whirlpool bath. The host is gregarious and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fine and Coronapas was checked.
