Hotels with Hot tubs in Amami

6 day stay - family of 4 from the UK. Communication with owners very easy (download LINE app and create an account if you don’t have one). House is lovely, very clean, well equipped with an amazing view. We were unfortunate to experience Typhoon Saudel during our stay - we can attest that the house is very safe in a storm (winds around 100mph) - the owners are keen to check we were ok and were quick to respond to our questions. Despite the winds building the cleaner still came on the morning of the storm! Have stayed in a lot of holiday properties - this was one of our favourite and was very good value (a neighbouring property was significantly more but having seen them both this was definitely better value). Practical stuff - 5 min drive to Big 2 supermarket (you definitely need a car), favourite beaches were Sakibaru for chilled swim, and 倉崎海岸 for snorkelling (still some live coral). We had a great sushi meal at すし まんてん 小浜店 in Naze. If you’re coming from the UK be prepared to be fairly unique, being tall and Caucasian drew some stares in the less touristy bits (but in a curious way!). Overall a great stay, Amami is beautiful and this house is a great place to explore from.

I had a lovely time staying here. I only wish I had planned to stay longer. The host is extremely kind and even offered to show me around, which I was very grateful for as I didn't have a car. He also made sure that I had the right directions for my excursions and takes very good care of his guests. I highly, highly recommend this place. I hope I can stay there again someday!

Great location and a very nice place to stay.

Excellent food, lovely hosts and great location!

The house has a pleasant, traditional feel and it is very spacious. The kitchen is big and it was easy to prepare meals every day. The host was very nice and whenever we had any questions she promptly responded. The garden, as small as it is, is well taken care of and we could actually pick some ripe kumquats from the tree. The location is practical for exploring northern part of the island. It was a marvellous holiday.

Nobuko is a wonderful host who helped us with everything we could possibly want or need. The little house is spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only thing that we missed a bit was more comfy space to lounge around since we were 4 people (eg a couch or more armchairs). We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
