Hotels with Hot tubs in Chatan

Stunning. A beautiful room with phenomenal views in a great location. We forgot our son’s beloved blanket and after a week of searching high and low, I called the hotel. They had it saved aside, folded in a bag, safe and waiting for pick up.

I came to Okinawa to check Kaichu Doro kitesurfing location. It is more or less 20 minutes drive from Villa Awase which is very convenient for any kitesurfing location. At the premises, the rooms are all having balcony facing port side which could have been conveniently used as kite gear store/dry place. Own washing and drying machine were huge plus. I also rented cooking equipment and set and used it to cook some small dishes esp. breakfast - for the price is is a no brainer especially if you stay longer than lets say one night. Fridge + freezer, small cabinet under the sink. Top quality Japanese toilet and free toiletries makes this bath equipped room great retreat. The whole place is super functional, comfortable and meets arrangements. The location makes it also perfect place for fishing enthusiasts stays as port area is full with fisherman's everyday. Okinawa has got lot of place for fishing to explore. Also fishing restaurant is available with dishes made from local fish every day. Great convenience stores and supermarkets within walking, cycling or driving distance (used all three techniques - loved them all :) Awase area has got hidden seafront restaurant street you will eventually come across - I have never tried the food or drinks there but I could see people enjoy it. Staff was probably the most enthusiastic and friendly people I have ever met. Always helpful, approachable and overcoming language barrier with easiness. The place felt like home and natural retreat after long hours of exploration of Okinawa main and surrounding islands. North of the island is within 1+ hour driving distance - a lot of good hikes available. For beach goers - I think there is not a single beach within close vicinity (for swimming) but there are some super nice spots driving distance away (Mibaru, Kaichu Doro / Mid-Sea Road, Katsuren Haebaru,..) Quite nice is that quest comply with house rules and there is barely noice after 9 PM.

Marina Bay Toya was spacious comfortable. We all had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with necessities. We were grateful to have a washer and dryer for our clothes. The nearby beach was a little piece of heaven. Of all of the beaches we visited in Okinawa, it was our favorite. It was small, quiet, and clean. We enjoyed finding seashells, watching birds, and observing the hermit crabs and tide pool fish. The location was very convenient. It was a close drive to Chatan and Naha to the south without being in a crowded area. It was also a convenient drive to the National park to the north. We had many adventures while in Okinawa, but we honestly preferred the days we spent at home at Marina Bay Toya.

Loved the amenities like the sauna, pool and hot tub. Also very cool to have a little “private beach” accessible by stairs at the back of the property. The technologically advanced air conditioning, air filter and stove system “talked to us” and made adjustments. When the weather is nice it was very enjoyable. The stormy weather brought concerns as the toilet and sink gurgled loudly.

Excellent for family trip with kids. The kitchenette is nice. The refrigerator has got a freezer to store food.

Clean, nice family house. The host is super nice. Everything was great. Everything we asked was solved very fast. We had a great time. Totally recommend.
