Impressive architecture! Very beautiful interior design. Very clean everywhere. The staff was very kind and very keen to assist us. The location is perfect if you want to spend a short amount of time surrounded by nature.

Breakfast was very good. Their egg dishes and sausages were very good, and the morning coffee was above expectations. The spas were the convenient to use, and the outdoor spa was also satisfying. The second floor tea room is very charming and the furniture is very quaint in an old-European fashion. Make sure to use the shuttle bus that is available as it saves time. The timetable can be checked on the hotel’s website. Also, the staff are very warm and friendly, and are very helpful. I would like to stay at this hotel again if I were to visit Nikko in the future.

the hotel is great. the view from the balcony is amazing. the bathtub on the balcony made this holiday the best.

Buffet, it had a variety meals

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The breakfast was excellent .What truly stood out was the staff — everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, this is easily one of the best hotels we have stayed in, and we would definitely come back again.

Outstanding place in the magical japanese mountains with fabulous Onsens. Friendliest staff. Delicious japanese food. Cozy, large and clean rooms. Exciting hiking to frozen waterfall and stargazing event. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you very much!

The facility is super cozy, they have a nice living room, perfect for hanging out in the evening. The hosts are great too, they are very nice and fun to talk to (they speak english very well) and in the evening they cooked some great and cheap meals for us. Would come again.

Very lovely accommodation. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were also both very lovely. Food is available to be bought at a good price. The onsens are very nice too, both the public and the private bath in the room.

It was large and clean. The location was great for us, a. Short walk with our two suitcases from the train station. There was a 7 eleven and a local supermarket within a few minutes walk. We the local coffee ar fab we found near the train station call Kichin. The staff are lovely and the coffee is really good..

Very clean, nice spacious home

The personal touch of this Inn makes this stay very spacial.

We like the natural hot spring the best. The room is also good and very spacious with ample supplies like socks, yukata. Vending machines sell ice cream, cup noodle, iced bento, and drinks offer us enough food choice as there are no restaurants nearby open for dinner. The whole hotel has many larger glass windows through which we enjoy seeing lush greenery. The shuttle bus from hotel to train station is convenient.

Very nice Japanese Style house in a quiet neighborhood. Well equipped kitchen and nice living room.

Honestly, it was already perfect — what more could we ask for? Private, peaceful, great vibes. Loved the outdoor tub and that insane sakura tree. Thanks for the fruit, coffee, and beef too — such a nice touch. Would 100% stay again.

We absolutely love the private onsen. The host was very accommodating and went out of his way to ensure we had a very pleasant stay. Samue and face masks were a great addition.

The house is big with many rooms and beds. It’s a bit old. The twin hot baths are in a separate room. We could not find the light and heater in that room. These twin hot baths cannot be used after 9:30pm. The time restriction limits the number of people who can enjoy it, especially if you have BBQ which has to be finished by 9pm. The place outside the house where you have BBQ is not well decorated.

No food of choice for non-Japanese Guests. Its high time , they accommodated

We had a lovely room with a view of the river and cozy futons. The onsen were excellent, especially the private ones, and we enjoyed the Kaiseki dinner and the breakfast. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We really loved our stay and would definitely like to come again.
