Fabulous stay! The house is gorgeous as is the property. Everything you need and more in this beautiful house. Each bedroom had its own ensuite, the common areas were stunning and comfortable. Incredibly clean and pristine. Each morning a fresh picnic basket was delivered to the house with fresh orange juice, and breakfast items which was a lovely touch. Spa, stream room, pool, workout room were amazing. Location was easy and convenient to drive to the train station less than 10 min away. Easy 1 hour train ride into Porto. Easy access to the Douro Valley. Great supermarket nearby. I was a bit nervous as I couldn’t find many reviews online but there was no need. It was wonderful. Highly recommend.

The place is incredible. Yes, it’s not right in the valley since it sits above it but the place itself is so different from what you’d usually find. The pictures are 100% accurate. The hosts are super responsive and the town of Lamego is really charming
