We stayed in the guard tower room, which is a bit different from most of the rooms in the hotel. It's right above the castle gate, with windows on 3 sides, but since the walls are 70cm thick and made of stone, it's very well insulated from noise. The conveniences/electrical system were slightly constrained by the fact that we were surrounded by thick stone, but they nonethless did a great job of making a beautiful, comfortable, and engagingly quirky room. Breakfast was also exceptional, with some of the best bread and pastry I've had in Switzerland.

The place is in a great location and quiet and peaceful - wish we can stay more!

The most beautiful and peaceful location. Della was lovely and very helpful. We were sad to leave - such a cosy place! Thank you for letting us stay. The spa is also incredible.
