I chose Hotel Catalonia Magdalenes after reading great reviews on TripAdvisor and seeing its high rating of 9 on Booking.com. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome—especially Bruno, who greeted my family and me with genuine warmth. We also had the pleasure of meeting Alfredo, who was very helpful in guiding us around the city and even recommended a lovely local bakery. Adam and Paula were always cheerful and greeted us with a smile every time we passed by, which added a nice personal touch to our stay. The hotel’s location is perfect—central and convenient—and the cleanliness throughout the property was excellent. However, the rooms were a bit on a small in size. Overall, it was a lovely stay with outstanding service. We’d definitely consider coming back!

Located in Platja d'Aro and set on the beachfront, Cosmopolita Hotel Boutique boasts an outdoor pool and terraces with sea views. Please note that there is no parking at the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly (special thanks to Nik and Sofia). The breakfast was great, with a nice buffet and fresh options like eggs, juice, pancakes, and waffles cooked on the spot. The location is perfect – right on the promenade, just steps from the beach with comfortable sunbeds. There’s also a rooftop pool (though quite small, but great for a refreshing dip), bar, and amazing sea views, plus a small spa with hammam and massages. The room was very clean, housekeeping every day and the bed super comfortable. I also appreciated the complimentary cava from the hotel and the daily water refills in the room 🫶 I would definitely come back!

This adults-only hotel is located next to Santa Susanna Beach. ALEGRIA Mar Mediterrania is a 40-minute drive from Girona and its airport, and offers modern, air-conditioned rooms with a terrace. Staff was super helpful, accommodating every request we came up with. The location could not be better, at the end of a strip of hotels so views for miles. Really awesome!!

Felix Hotel has a restaurant, free bikes, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and bar in Valls. I can't wait to come back during the summer to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool 😍
