The heating system works beautifully, keeping the space consistently comfortable without ever feeling dry or stuffy—something that makes a real difference in colder months. Breakfast was lovely, with small touches like proper cloth linen napkins that reinforce the hotel’s attention to quality. Overall, Casa 1800 strikes a perfect balance between warmth and sophistication—intimate without feeling small, refined without being formal. A deeply comfortable stay and a place we would happily return to.

Our hosts were beautiful people, wonderful cooks, and made every effort to make certain we were happy and taken care of. Additionally, they recommended hiking trails, restaurants, and other places we might be interested in taking day trips to. It had terrific views from the terraces, and the house was well located in a quiet corner of the village next to an ancient grove of olive trees. And their friendly, well behaved dog Lucky stole the show and our hearts for the week we stayed there.
