This place deserves its name, Heaven’s Door! With a view overlooking the whole of Samos Bay, the quiet and the serenity of the area, it is indeed like heaven. The hosts are lovely people, very kind and friendly family. The apartment is super new looking, nicely decorated and provides all necessities one needs on vacation.

The view was incredible, looking across the infinity pool to the wide expanse of Varthy harbour and surrounding coastline. Very quiet with just a few other respectful guests. Fantastic, modern apartment with huge terrace. Plenty of seating options along with loungers by the pool. A car is recommended but I managed the steep 20 minute walk up the hill each day. There are plenty of taxis in Varthy should you need. The manager was kind enough to take me down to the nearest shop for some supplies when I arrived.

Located within walking distance from Vathy harbour and the traditional village of Ano Vathy, Grand View Villas is a complex of fully equipped houses with views over the Aegean Sea. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The view was just incredible, my favorite part.

The property was close to town but not too close. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. The property was very clean and the owners were easy to deal with.
