We stayed at Csenger Vendégházak from July 16th to 18th, 2025, and it was a truly delightful experience. The property was beautifully maintained, cozy, and full of charm. The location was excellent—peaceful, yet close to nearby attractions. Our host, Mr. Chris, was incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind. He made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit, and his warm hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel genuinely welcome. I highly recommend Csenger Vendégházak to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway. I’d love to return someday!

Spotless, well appointed, squeaky clean room, well stocked minibar, friendly staff, great gastronomy. Excellent breakfast, and particularly remarkable dinner. Good value massages in the wellness area.

Főnix Wellness Resort in Csitár provides adults-only accommodation with a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. One of the loveliest hotels. The staff was really friendly but not pushy. The spa facilities were just perfect. Everything was very peaceful and we could really switch off. The food was just delicious whether it was for breakfast or dinner. One of us also had a massage which really helped and the masseuse lady even showed me some exercises to help with my shoulder. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy the truly relaxing atmosphere.

Piccola Grande Casa is a recently renovated apartment in Mátraterenye, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The house was perfect, a lot of space, well equipped and a great garden. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Next we would definitely book this house again!!

Set in Pásztó, Mátravölgy Apartmanház offers accommodation with a sauna and a hot tub. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Absolutely fabulous place! Good place for a family stay or drive through, not in a centre or in a big famous tourstic place bit of you need smth in this region, I would highly recommend it! With hot weather there was and outdoor pool, sitting areas in the shadow, BBQ-place. The apartment was huge (we had 3 bedroom apt) on 2 floors and there was everything you need in the apt, like home where you have to have all for living. Interior was nicely planned and had designer touch, very modern, fancy and clean.

Located in Romhány in the Nograd region, Rózsakert has a garden. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The room was comfortable with a great bed and a good shower. Since the restaurant was already closed, they had prepared drinks, sandwiches, and a delicious hot borscht soup. That level of care and thoughtfulness was truly remarkable. A wonderful experience.
