Dacha is a recently renovated villa in Bukittinggi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The rental was beautiful and there were thoughtful details everywhere. It was well-decorated and felt like a second home. Jeni and Hanafi were incredible hosts and helped us with things we needed, such as organizing a motor bike rental and airport transportation. They made and delivered the most delicious breakfasts both mornings. Their hospitality went above and beyond in every way. We are honored to have met such wonderful people and to feel so welcomed in Bukittinggi!

Grand Mercure Lampung is a 5-star property set in Bandar Lampung. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a hot tub. The breakfast was fantastic in a very large area with a great selection. Less than 5% of the tables were used while we were there from 9am to 10am. We ordered scrambled eggs with mushroom and they had to go and cut up mushrooms but were happy to do so. Our room was on the 20th floor and provided all we needed. They had a bar where we were able to buy a beer.

Situated in Berastagi, 37 km from Mount Sinabung, Pariban Hotel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Clean, comfortable and great views. Only small items of concern. Coffee at breakfast is cold and need to add hot water. Not sure why. Juice not supplied in breakfast area. Would be nice seeing as the area is a rich fruit growing area.
