A word of warning. If you are on your way to Varkala as we were, you won’t find any place to stay like this!! It’s super clean, excellent food in fact we decided we wanted lunch at 2 pm and this was no problem they just needed an hour notice to gather ingredients and it’s all made from scratch. Superb!! Lovely pool area. Very tranquil and quiet. If you do want to go along the beach to have lunch it’s quite a walk but nice. There are a few beach shacks but our advice is stay put! Let Maxon the manager and his wonderful staff look after you. It’s super quiet which at first was a shock but we arrived in Varkala and realised how much nicer Murari beach is! Especially the cleanliness!! Watch the sunset from the beach outside. Sit on the chairs and chill. It’s magical.

No words to describe on how amazing and clean this place is. The fact that it’s sooo neat and so sharp. 8 don’t have words to describe. The place is soo peaceful. My special thanks to Mr Albin - he has been one of the most humble and amazing host, with his constant assistance and my endless needs , a very dedicated person to serve us the best. and also Mr Kartik to help keep patient with our endless inquiry.infact all the staffs are amazing. From the food service to guard they have been the most humble and always with the best smile on their faces. The rooms are spacious and neat. Love and the best experience. My first trip to India and I can say I ended it in the best way.

Forte Kochi är ett lyxigt kulturellt hotell som erbjuder 5-stjärnigt boende på Princess Street i Fort Kochi. Boendet ligger 200 meter från Santacruz Basilica Kochi och har en utomhuspool. Fantastiskt fint och charmigt snyggt renoverat gammalt hotell. Mycket fin och ren pool. Tillmötesgående personal. Morgonvandringen på stan med guide var väldigt trevlig och frukosten hade ett varierat utbud. Jag bad om ett rum på våning två och det fick jag.

The setting is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen in Kerala and the staff couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. I would love to visit again someday. The relaxation is unparalleled. Accommodations are slightly rustic with an elegance unique to its owners. I loved it but might not be for everyone.

Marari Nadiya ligger i Mararikulam, en kort bit från Marari Beach, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en egen strand och en restaurang. Som att komma tillbaka till det gamla Indien vi en gång kände med lugn och ro, enkla förhållanden och massor med atmosfär men även med tillgång till en näst intill orörd, milslång sandstrand vid Syd-Indiens västkust. Även maten var väldigt god och prisvärd medan gästvänligheten var något utöver det vanliga, något som fick oss att känna som om vi fått oss ett andra hem. Så vi har bestämt att vi ska återkomma och bo där ytterligare en tid mot slutet av vår resa.

This place is pure magic! Absolutely loved my stay here. The most peaceful location beside Lake Vembanad, the saltwater pool is lovely to dip in, the staff so friendly, the cottages are so lovely and spacious but the highlight has to be the food. Incredible meals! I will definitely be back.

Ginger House Museum Hotel ligger i Kochi, 2,1 km från Kochi Biennale, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en terrass. Excellent location water front rooms. Very unique property . It’s like being in a museum with a lot of antique things. Restaurant was great with very good breakfast. Too many food items and very tasty. Didn’t have to have lunch after the heavy breakfast. Restaurant staffs and receptionist are very helpful and polite. Owner came to us during breakfast and enquired us regarding the stay. Very close to some tourist attractions like synagogue, palace and lot of shops around for perfumes and antiques. Will definitely stay again and would recommend to others .
