This was our best stay while exploring Iceland: amazing hosts, quiet and clean rooms, super spacious dining area and kitchen, a separate huge common space with 2 pianos …and a jacuzzi in the evening on the roof between 2 mountains! Socializing and sharing tips about travel with the other guests. Nice breakfast in the morning and Paskahellir site with blueberry fields in late August just around the corner. Totally worth the trip off the ring road!!

This Fjord that the house is located in is one of the most beautiful! The house is absolutely perfect and comfortable. It is cozy, warm and clean. The hot tub on the deck is fantastic! I highly recommend staying here!

Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs is located in the Eastern Highlands and is at the border of Vatnajökull National Park. From Laugarfell you have access to many hiking trails and you are close to the road leading to Askja. Laugarfell is accessible for all types of vehicles.

There is a shared guest lounge and restaurant. The restaurant offers breakfast, dinner and coffee, cake and snacks. The location was excellent, in a peaceful place under the mountains and glacier. The staff were very friendly, they even rang a bell when the Aurora Borealis was visible. Spacious rooms. The hot tubes outside. Breakfast was very good.

Each holiday home has wooden interiors and a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. A sauna, hot tub and yoga mats are also available. We loved the cabin and its surroundings. It's secluded enough to feel isolated, yet a five-minute drive from the grocery store, gas station, etc. It was clean and all the appliances were in perfect working order. We cooked dinner and enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
