Our stay here was perfect! There was a hammock on the balcony, a firepit outside the spa in the evening, breakfast had a great range of home cooked food with locally sourced ingredients, including honey made on site. Room was clean and air conditioned with really nice attention to details. All the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to answer any questions we had. Super nice, friendly and relaxing vibe. You can walk to Orta in about 20-30 mins or drive down. There is secure parking too and the train station only a short walk away. Highly recommend this place!

Recently, my family and I went on an unforgettable trip to Italy, to the beautiful Lago d'Orta. We stayed in the charming town of San Giulio, at Villa Casa Elsa — and it was truly a wonderful experience. There were five of us and a small Corgi dog, and we comfortably settled into the spacious apartment. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, including a coffee machine — we really felt at home. The villa offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding hills. Free parking was available nearby, which is incredibly convenient for travelers arriving by car. There’s also a cozy gazebo with a small grill and a breathtaking view over the lake — although we didn’t use it, it’s a nice surprise for barbecue lovers. The historical center of San Giulio is just a short walk away. In the evenings, it’s amazing to stroll through its narrow old streets, take in the charm of the old town, enjoy the lake views, have dinner at a local restaurant, and sip a glass of good wine. You’ll also find small shops with lovely souvenirs. A special highlight was the Coffee Museum, where very welcoming people serve excellent coffee — a must-visit! One of the greatest advantages of staying at Casa Elsa is the private beach available exclusively to guests — free of charge! It’s only a few minutes' walk from the villa, and the area is incredibly peaceful and scenic. Right next to the beach, you can rent kayaks, pedal boats, or SUP boards. The host, Laura, was extremely kind, welcoming, and always available if we had any questions or needed assistance. Without a doubt, we’ll stay at Villa Casa Elsa again on our next trip — and we’ll recommend it to all our friends and family!

Doté d’un bain à remous, l’hébergement Bellissimo Rustico A 7 km Dal Lago D'Orta vous accueille à Omegna, à 16 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Îles Borromées. Endroit magnifique, calme, retiré. Intérieur rustique et complétement équipé. Nous avons été très bien reçus par Laura qui nous a expliqué chaque détail et conseillé sur les endroits à visiter. La région est remplie de jolis endroits.

Situé à Pettenasco et offrant une vue sur le lac, l’établissement Villa Antica Colonia SPA & Wellness comprend une piscine extérieure ouverte en saison, un jardin, une plage privée, un salon commun et... The location, the appartment, the breakfast and the massages, all was above expectations. We were welcomed by Monica, who was always avaiable during our stay. Helped by good weather we enjoyed the terrace and seating arrangements. The proposed restaurant was indeed easily reachable and very nice as well. All and all a super experience!

Aménagé dans un monastère rénové du XVIe siècle, l'Hotel San Rocco se trouve sur les rives du magnifique lac d'Orta. The all staff are friendly and also helpful. The breakfast was very delicious and the location was also very good.

L’hôtel L'Approdo dispose d'une plage privée et offre une vue magnifique sur le lac d'Orta. Il se trouve à seulement quelques minutes de route d'Orta San Giulio et de l'autoroute A26. This is a really nice hotel in a very picturesque location and it is not so touristy as some of the other Italian lakes. Everything was superb and made for a lovely break on our road trip, unfortunately it was only 2 nights . I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
