The most wonderful stay at a property that was hands down the most luxurious one we stayed at whilst our two weeks in Japan. Describing the suite and the level of care that has gone into making this ryokan a pampering experience for guests in words would not do it justice. From the private onsen, Aesop products in the bathroom, fully stocked fridge everyday (all complimentary), huge and extra comfortable beds and incredible Japanese breakfast. We loved every second of our stay in Kanazawa and were so glad to add an extra night.

It has been an incredible expierence. The staff is very attentive: they explain the facilities of the ryokan, provide you with a map and point out the most important places to visit in the area. It was a pleasure, one of the best stays we have had in Japan.

And it has a small table outside which is very rare thing in japan.

Kenrokutei Oyado ligger 6 minuters promenad från Kenrokuen-trädgården och erbjuder boende i Kanazawa med tillgång till ett bubbelbad. The house is traditional but has modern facilities such as air conditioning, wifi and a washing machine. All the rooms are beautifully fitted out. It is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our host met us and explained how everything worked. It's in a quiet residential area, about 10 mins walk into town.
