The staff were super friendly, service minded, and fairly comfortable with English. We had a room with our own outdoor bath which was amazing, and the room as a whole was spacious, clean, and filled with amenities. All the food was great. Overall had an amazing stay and me and me wife really felt like we were taken care of and spoiled.

The apartment was very clean and spacious and has everything that you might need for a comfortable stay. Aki-san is a very nice and caring host, and the breakfast was superb. Highly recommended to stay here, but it is better to have a car, which we did, and it was easy to find the location with google map.

With the hotel being newly opened, the facilities were spotless. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, admiring the sunset behind the Hira mountains. Dinner was a meat lover's dream, with every course bursting with flavor and perfectly paired wines. The next morning, we indulged in a breakfast made from fresh Omi vegetables, delivered via room service so we could savor it while taking in the scenic view of Lake Biwa. And the staff were all incredibly friendly.

I liked the ricefields, the Biwa-Sea, the Mountains and the special spezies of the Mammut trees. ・The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. It is a big house very nice equipped, there is a big kitchen with all you need. There are nice flowers and the linen of the beds is so soft. I felt like at home. And I enjoyed the bath. I recommand very much to stay in this wonderful house with this wonderful family. I would really like to come back one day.

Our stay at Keshiki no Oyado - Metasequoia was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and kindness of the hosts. The hospitality was beyond our expectations, with every detail thoughtfully prepared to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The accommodation was spotless, well-maintained, and beautifully designed, blending perfectly with the peaceful surroundings. The serene atmosphere made it a perfect retreat, and we felt completely at home. We truly appreciate the care and effort put into making each guest’s experience special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and heartwarming stay. We can’t wait to return in another season!

A perfect countryside Japanese farmhouse stay. By far the best stay of my trip here. Owners are so kind and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They prepare your bath, take you shopping, and even to rent a bicycle and then to the train station on my last day. Amazing people. The classical music and the view every morning are just exquisite. Could not be happier. Incredible value for your money also.
