This hotel features a hot tub, a ski drying room and shared lounge and laundry facilities. The Cardrona has an amazing vibe. Very cozy and comfortable. It was nice to come back after a long day and have a drink and a meal by the fire or outside in the sunny garden. The food in the restauraunt and bar were also great. Very friendly staff as well!

The spa pool was so relaxing after a long day pf travel and we slept like babies in the quiet room with windows open and cool Takaka breeze. Hosts were perfect, very informative but also respectful of your space and privacy. Having laundry and kitchen facility was added bonus to an already amazing property. We can't wait to return. The owners were also kind enough to let us charge our EV (pre-arranged) which is a tremendous convenience to start the day recharged,

Location is amazing surrounded by native bush and birdsong, along with a chorus of cicadas! Restaurant on site was good, very nice atmosphere. Being able to bring our small dog with us was amazing :) Nice to have complimentary wine on arrival and the basic continental breakfast that was delivered was good.
