Shaun and Novie are both incredibly nice hosts and very easy to speak to. This is my 3rd time in siquijor, and it's been my favorite place to stay. The location is great, everything is brand new, comfy bed, starlink internet, hot water, the jacuzzi is great, and they have a solar system, so you never have to worry about not having power!

Joy and Lutz are the most wonderful hosts, and their kids quickly became best friends with our children — to the point where our kids didn’t even want to come exploring the island with us because they didn’t want to leave their new friends! The White House itself is gorgeous and thoughtfully set up with all the little extras that make a stay truly comfortable: great cooking facilities, plenty of crockery, comfortable beds, a lovely hot shower, and a beautiful outdoor balcony setting where we loved spending time. Everything felt easy, relaxed, and homely. Joy went above and beyond to help us, organising motorbikes and transfers and even giving us incredibly helpful medical advice when we needed it — we felt so well looked after. This is truly a special place and a perfect escape. Part of us wants to say keep it a secret, because it’s such a wonderful spot to relax, connect, and feel at home. We would return in a heartbeat!

Runik honestly exceeded our expectations! The tent was super comfortable, a nice change from staying in regular hotels or hostels, fan and A/C kept us lovely and cool. The food was INCREDIBLE, breakfast included, had dinner once and everything we ordered from the menu was so delicious and unique! The bar was great fun, Paul would usually make our cocktails and they were 10/10 delicious. All the staff at Runik are so caring and go above and beyond for you. Thank you to all the lovely women on front desk who welcome you from the beginning. You all work so hard and it shows! We want to come back ASAP....! Pool area and sea views are fabulous. We would wake up at 6am and go down with an iced coffee to watch the fisherman out at sea each morning :). We hired a scooter each via reception, this is how we got around as the hotel is a little away from the restaurants etc. We used the scooters to visit all the tourist spots too.

We have visited several times, and the kids just love the pool and spend hours swimming and diving. The pick up service from the ferry makes the transfer from the harbor easy even with kids and luggage. Siquijor itself is fantastic: * It feels completely safe. * Even when given the opportunity of overcharging local attractions just charged the sticker price. - The cashiers always remembered that kids only pay kids price. - TucTuc fares were fair without surprises. * The children loved swimming with the turtles at Apo island, and we were lucky to see dolphins on the way back. * Locals are really friendly.

There is a gorgeous pool with a swim up bar and a beach just beyond. A nice gym and a spa (excellent massage). A brand new scuba shop has opened with the most amazing facilities. Ben is one of the best dive masters we’ve ever had the pleasure of diving with. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything worked (air conditioning, hot water, safe, outlets). Not always true in the Philippines! Food was pretty good at their restaurant, serving staff needs some better training, but they were kind. Go to Dolce Amore in San Juan - you won’t regret it!
