Surrounded by 80 000m² of beautiful gardens, this 5-star hotel is 4 km from Évora city centre and housed in a renovated 15th-century convent. It offers a piano bar and free parking. LOVED this place. Full of history and ambiance. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was fabulous. Great sommelier! The breakfast was amazing. What a selection. We also booked spa treatments so it was super relaxing. We enjoyed the fact that it was outside of Evora for some relaxation and quiet time.

Situated in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 1.4 km from Patacho Beach, Quinta do Canal features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The Quinta is beautiful. The staff were exceptional and friendly.The breakfast was plentyful, and a good variety of items to choose from to eat. Anna Moseto is the queen of the kitchen. Thank you for everything.

A recently renovated guest house in Selmes and within 35 km of Alqueva Dam, B&B Casa da Ponte Selmes Vidigueira features pool with a view, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. A hidden oasis gem in whitewashed Portuguese village. The owners, Anouk and Dennis, a Dutch couple are so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The 2 rooms are self catering but for a small price a very tasty continental breakfast is available. Our ‘room’ consisted of a huge bedroom with very comfortable super king bed leading to modern fully equipped bathroom with wonderfully powerful shower. There is also a sitting room and further twin bedroom upstairs. Outside is a salt pool, expanse of grassy area (good place for breakfast) with shady trees. There is also a very well equipped shared kitchen for both rooms. Wonderful place, we had a great time. Thank you.

SOLAR DOS FRADES asub Ferreira do Alentejo ajaloolises hoones, 48 km kaugusel Flouri muuseumist. Hiljuti renoveeritud külalistemajas on välibassein ning spaa- ja tervisekeskus. Two weary cyclists arrived for one night. We were delighted! Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines! Huge space, a lot of different spots to chill, read and relax with privacy. All the windows have mosquito nets which is amazing for people who tend to get bitten while sleeping :) Host Jerome makes you feel really welcome, it’s a very warm and loving family, always around and happy to help. It’s very close to the village, which makes it easy to shop and have dinner at restaurants. Very safe and entertaining for kids to play around free.

The Staff are awesome. There was no fridge in the room. But I soon found out they run an honesty drinks supply from the kitchen Beer soft drinks wine and even spirts all you do is record what you take. It like Ben at home. If you are in this area you need to stay here

A Janela Do Castelo asub Monsarazis. Kohapeal on konditsioneeri ja terrassiga majutusruumid. The road getting to the property was a little tight but the location was unbelievable. It is right next to the castle with wonderful views out every window. The yard was also very inviting and private. It was December, so we didn't get to enjoy the yard (and we only stayed one night). There is even a laundry room accessible via the yard. The beds were comfortable including the day-bed adjacent to the living room. It was a lovely place with a lot of character and charm.

Passo do Lobo - Turismo Rural asub Mouras, 12 km kaugusel Alqueva tammist ja 49 km kaugusel Monsarazi lossist. Tubades on konditsioneer ja privaatne vannituba. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The warm welcome from Fatima and Juan. The cleanliness of the house and our room. The comfortable bed and shower. The delicious homemade breakfast that had everything you can imagine. Very abundant and truly tasty. Thank you Fatima and Juan for the wonderful stay.
