Few people in the winter season (Christmas time), variety of choices for breakfast, friendly staff. Also, basic breakfast options, if you check out very early.

Canto`s Green Garden, Apartamentos Turísticos & SPA, 4 Estrelas ligger i Furnas och erbjuder en terrass med utsikt över bergen och poolen samt en utomhuspool som är öppen året om, en bastu och ett... Everything was great. Furnas is well situated for discovering a lot on Sao Miguel. The staff is very friendly and helpful whenever a question came up they were able to help. the Fitness room is well equipped, the pool nice for some swimming. The houses have everything necessary. Breakfast has nice local food, i really recommend the "volcano bread". The garden is nice for some leisure stroll. There is a separate set of dark towels ready to take to the thermal springs! Supermarkets and good restaurants are close by (about 10min walk), hot springs can be reached by foot too. In a radius of about 30-35min driving distance are a lot of possibilities, like for hiking, canyoning, whale watching, the tea plantation and more.

Boutique Hotel Teatro ligger i Angra do Heroísmo, 5 minuters promenad från Zona Balnear da Prainha strand, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, privat parkering, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge.... Fantastisk frukost. Fanns mkt framme och sedan kunde man beställa extra, pannkakor, “finkaffe” mm. Oerhört bra personal. Trevligt litet spa.

Azores Book Hotel ligger i Angra do Heroísmo, 4 minuters promenad från Praia da Silveira, och erbjuder 4-stjärnigt boende med en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och en bar. We had to check out too early for the breakfast but we plan to return someday and enjoy it then. We brought friends that were staying in other closeby hotels and they loved it and will stay there in the future.

The hotel is not only beautiful, but the location was excellent and lush. The interior decor was amazing and the room was huge and clean. The bathroom was perfect! The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was terrific and changed some every day. The garden and pool area were perfection!
