And if you are beginning your camino from Tui, Amorino is the perfect stay being just steps way from the camino path.
And what an incredible staff they have! Beatriz was adorable, and helped me to arrange the late check in , taxi, the document required for pilgrim! Everything and beyond, Beatriz did help me with a pleasure

Our lovely hostess waited until we arrived, very late, to show us around and give us the keys. The property was immaculate and very comfortable (and big beds!). Private jacuzzi plus pool shared with a couple of other properties run by same host in private garden. Very quiet and lovely views. The local baker drives by 6 mornings a week selling fresh bread, rolls and pastries! We would definitely go back!

Excellent location, fantastic hosts, brilliant facilities, top of the line apartment; the inside and outside pool as well as the jacuzzi are beautiful and well maintained. The apartment is well equipped, not very big but has very comfortable beds and 5-star towels and bathrobes. Location is very good for sightseeing northern Portugal as well as visiting Ponte de Barca itself. In short: if you are looking for a great stay with very hospital hosts in North of Portugal: this is the place to go!

Friendliness of the staff from reception, house-keeping and restaurant staff.
We have stayed here a number of times over the years and the outdoor terrace with seating, sun loungers and outdoor pool is the perfect area to relax.
We visit Viana Do Castelo for family and Axis is in a great location to visit all the areas we need to which are all within walking distance.
A lovely hotel.

Hotel de Guimaraes is a corporate hotel. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable. The shower was large and good and the bathroom area was large. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was varied and good. The reception staff were extremely helpful and we had an excellent meal one evening attended by a very friendly and helpful waiter - who recommended a superb white wine.

Really good breakfast with a lot of variety. Very friendly staff.
The room size was amazing, everything was big, from the bathroom to the bed, and the balcony was perfect to sit and enjoy nature! The facilities have a free inside and outside pool, a jacuzzi and a Turkish bath. There is a spa, with some treatments like massages that you will have to pay extra but the prices seemed pretty reasonable to me.

Set in beautiful grounds with a unique rustic authentic feel. When I asked the staff for help with anything they were very obliging but sadly not overly pro active. Located a 20 minute walk from the eco via, which takes you on an hour walk into Ponte de Lima. The spa is a nice touch but definitely not ‘luxury’ and the flagship goats milk bath and massage although lovely was overpriced. The hotel also allowed me use of their bikes free of charge.

Everything! It is just perfect. The place is very beautiful, the pool, the spa, the lounge.... The room has everything you need to cook (and much more) and it is really clean. The cleanest room with a kitchen that I ever was. The lounge is very comfortable (TV, sofas, board games, pool table ...) and we had coffee capsules and some butter for breakfast. The bedroom is nice and the bed is so comfortable!! I loved everything, it will be one of the most known places to stay in this region for sure.
