The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan .is a 10-minute car ride from Kiruna city centre. Definitely will stay here again on my next trip ...good breakfast , lunch and dinner. Offer various options. Northern light and other tours available here . Lots of activities for kids too .

Grand Hotel Lapland is situated in the centre of Gällivare, directly opposite Gällivare Train Station. This area is known for both the midnight sun and the unique northern lights. 駅前のロケーションで景観は最高です。Gällvare駅舎にもすぐに行けます。 部屋は大変広く、清潔かつ空調もあってこの時期の北欧のホテルでは快適でした。 また、駐車場も十分確保されており助かりました。朝食も種類が多くおいしかったです。また、6階のバー+ジャグジーなどもあって色々楽しめます。 The location is in front of the station, so the views are amazing. Gällvare Station is also within easy reach. The room was very spacious, clean, and air-conditioned, which was very comfortable for a Nordic hotel at this time of year. There was also ample parking, which was very helpful. The breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. There was also a bar and jacuzzi on the 6th floor, so there was plenty to enjoy.
