Sanna leaves and breathes in its ‘boutique’ nature and makes visitors feel unique and welcome. The huge Trevor Cole images adorning the hallways and the rooftop mural immediately remind you that you are in Maasai land. But once you enter your huge and well-adorned room you can isolate yourself from any world you wish. No doubt Arusha has many nice restaurants, but with a rooftop restaurant, excellent menu, chilled beers and exceptional staff, my colleague and I chose the Sanna for every meal. Breakfast proved to be a perfect start. No fussing about a buffet table helping yourself to cold food. At Sanna you order anything and everything you want from the breakfast menu and it’s delivered to your table hot and fast … and with a huge smile. At Sanna we weren’t faceless nameless guests at a luxury international hotel. Staff, security guards and even the Manager/Owner Prince treated us like guests who had names and places to go.
