The place itself was wonderful, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully laid out. Very warm and welcoming. We especially loved the horses and chickens- and the amazingly cool Icelandic Sheepdog! Can’t say enough good things about the hosts, too! Just wonderful folks and a wonderful place.

Comfortable Accommodations: Allred Hotel in Newport offers family rooms with private bathrooms, sea views, and modern amenities. Staff was always very friendly and welcoming, we had a busy schedule and missed the room attendants, but they were super kind when we requested towels at the end of our long day. The room has an excellent view.

Even when I checked in the lovely lady on reception said “Mr Lawrence?” I know there were only 2 more People to check in but still fabulous. She knew the answers to all our questions. Located directly on the beach with views of Haystack Rock, this Cannon Beach hotel features a spa and wellness centre. This location is EVERYTHING! we left our car and walked over to Pelican Brewing for dinner and then back. To wake up to these views was the highlight of our entire trip so far. The resort is so cute, clean, welcoming and cozy. The staff were great.
