We recently stayed at the ROVE CITY CENTRE HOTEL which we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Dubai. The Hotel is conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from the metro station "City Centre" and the Deira City Centre Mall. From there, it's just a 20-minute ride to Dubai Mall, making it a perfect spot for travelers who want to explore the city. What impressed us most about this Hotel was the warm and welcoming feel of the decor and architecture. The lobby was particularly nice, with plenty of seating and work stations equipped with Apple computers. They even had lockers for luggage storage, which was a nice touch. The rooms were also impressive, not too small but also not too big, with a bright and airy feel that made them seem brand new. Each room was equipped with all the amenities we could need, including a hair dryer, fridge, water kettle, 2 bottles of water, tea bags, sugar, and coffee. The bathroom was well-stocked with shower gel, shampoo, and plenty of towels for two people. But what really set this hotel apart was the excellent service. The staff, particularly Elvis, Leni, Summa, and Sulitan, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were always happy to help with any questions we had. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai. Despite being a 3-star hotel, we would rate it as a 4-star hotel due to the value for money it offers. If you're looking for a comfortable and affordable stay, this hotel should definitely be at the top of your list.

Definitely worth a visit my suggestion would be take a metro...

Definitely worth a visit my suggestion would be take a metro to Al Ras Station this means catching a train on the Red line towards Centrepoint however you must change at Burjuman this interchange station between Red and Green lines Al Ras Station in on the Green line but only a couple of stops and then a short walk.

Hard hearted selfish uneducated uncultured poorly mannered money grabbing sales people in this whole city everywhere you go and gets at its worst in the Gold souk as it’s too many shops selling the same things. I’m guessing the sales and advisers are under immense pressure by their bosses to sell and meet targets without any customer service. There is no such thing as customer service experience in Dubai anywhere in retail sector just an aggressive money grabbing city in terms of shopping experience, one of the worst places in the world for customer service scores which should be a fat 0/10 or minus if possible. Dubai isn’t what it used to be. It’s full of underpaid suffering employees / workers on heavy pressure to grab customers money. The staff think their job is to hard sell and make a customer feel bad for walking in there. Far too aggressive and pushy overpriced rip off place not worth a look let alone a buy! You have to haggle hard but even then you will be ripped off and highly likely to have the worst shopping experience of your life!!

Very interesting shops in the Gold Souk. Bargain and you will get a lower price to suit your wallet (within reason). Jewellers always make a profit even though they say they don't make any if they settle at your price

I took my family to Novotel. Overall, I had a good experience. The hotel is in a great location - near a Metro and a bus station. It also has multiple restaurants and shops nearby. It is a quite convenient location to explore Dubai. It is also near the Dubai gubaiba bus station that you can take to visit other cities such as Abu Dhabi. Other places like Spice and Gold souks are in walkable distance.

You get what you pay for. Don't expect a 5 star experience. Samar looks well after the place and checks up on the rooms daily. It's kept relatively clean. Shoes aren't allowed which keeps dirt away. There is a small kitchen and fridge to prepare and store some food. A balcony is available for smokers. Each bed has a locker for valuable items. You can walk in about 10 minutes to the "Gold Souk" subway station.

Superb location, fabulous view of the Burj Khalifa, easy entry to the Dubai Mall. Well appointed room, spacious. Hotel drivers had Lexus ES350 and took me to the Gold Souk and back. My driver, Hassan was extremely professional, on checkout I hired him to take me to the Abu Dhabi airport. My entire experience was very smooth and accomodating.
