Very magical place, very remote, which is nice. Only thing to note, is it’s a gravel track for 15 mins from main road.

Set in Mole Creek, Wandering Trout offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries.

Hosts Susie and Justin are fantastic. Made us feel very welcome and relaxed. They were super friendly with us during our stay. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The upstairs dining area was clean (basics supplied), and the guest lounge was comfortable. We had the 'Hosts Table' dinner, which was delicious. Susie and Justin were great hosts. I'll be recommending the Wandering Trout to friends and family when they travel to Tasmania.

A wonderful retreat, enjoyed the wallabies hopping around us at dusk and the amazing views. The property was cosy and warm - wish we could have stayed longer and would highly recommend.
