The location of this hotel was fantastic. View of the fortress from our room. Within walking distance to everything...shops, food, pubs, fortress. Rooftop terrace was great. We saw the fortress light show from our room! Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. Comfy beds! We would definitely stay here again.

Staff were exceptionally helpful. They let us check our luggage when we arrived early, and provided good directions for us to start investigating the town. They helped call cabs when we needed them (e.g., to get to Arbanassi).. Breakfast was plentiful. The owner even packed some breakfast snacks for us to take with us. The location is near the Mother of Bulgaria statue in Veliko Tarnovo, so attractions in the old town are within walking distance (craft street, fortress, museums).
