The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I didn't get any noise from other rooms through the walls. Breakfast was awesome. The location is awesome. Great neighbourhood with heaps of restaurants, close to the metro & also close to one of the van pick up points for visiting the statue. Hot water worked.

I liked everything about the hotel. Breakfast options were nice and varied. The people who work there made our stay phenomenal. Great experience.

Clean, simple but sufficient, extremely nice staff, convenient location close to commerce and Metro, free pass for a gym 50 m away (not high tech, but large and sufficient), small but nice pool in the back (sauna did not work this week)… decent breakfast.

Conveniently located in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of shops, groceries, restaurants all within a 3 min. walk. Rio metro is also 3 min. away providing easy and quick access to Copacabana, Botafogo and the city center. Additionally, close to Rio's famous sights like Sugarloaf and Corcovado mountains and all the beaches. Plenty of choices for breakfast.

Barely write reviews but this poussada was really worth it. Its very much in the center but the way its set up feels like its completly secluded when your in your room and main area bc youre just surrounded by green. They also have a nice restaurant with drafts beers which was completely a surprise and the burger I had was also super. Also in the restaurant feels like your not that in the center when you actually are a 2 min walk away. One nice quiet beach is 5 minutes away and the other beach is 7-8 minutes away. Everything is super closeby and easy to reach with great rooms and great service. Run by a nice family and/or friends I think??? They even provided us with free snorkles and free towels specifically for the beach and they help you with all advice for the island. Booked this poussada completley by random but it was such a gem and would 100% come again and recommend. Breakfast is also great lol it doesnt stop with all the good things😭😭😭

Very clean bedroom and bathroom. 24 hour reception was very convenient because we arrived late into Rio. Location is central and a short drive from the main beaches and the great nightlife area of Botafogo. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Excellent value for money.

Very clean, nice breakfast, very close to the metro, 10mn walk from the famous stairs. Safe area. And we were just foreigners wanting to visit rio not something else so it was perfect!

The pillows are rock hard and impossible to sleep on. The breakfast is exactly the same every morning, the coffee is good though. Hotel is in a safe location, with close proximity to the Metro. (There really are mirrors on the ceiling).

This is located in the perfect spot, sort of a four corners thing where you walk left from the door you are in Lapa or Centro, walk behind it and you are in Saint Theresa, and take a right and you are walking towards Laranjeira and the beaches. It's on the subway and on the tram. It's not a brand new hotel but it is clean, very quiet, and spacious. Shower is magnificently hot and high pressure. Staff is always at front desk and breakfast is good. Not sure if it is a Brazilian thing but it is essentially a desert bar which is not a bad thing. I think pound for pound especially for a single traveler who is here to explore Rio this is the best deal in town. I usually book a hotel for two nights then try to extend the stay if it is good or bail if it is no good, I kept paying for another night. Oh yeah, everything you want to see is basically on the same metro line. Like you can be at Ipanema and Copacobana in like fifteen minutes. So this is a fine choice if you are here for the beaches too.
