It’s a modern, beautiful and very comfortable place. The staff is great - very friendly and helpful! The breakfast is high quality in a beautiful restaurant. The location is very nice - very close to the beach, in the safe area with plenty of restaurants and shops. Very close to the subway station too.

Location was excellent - right on the beach and had an amazing view. They let us borrow beach towels and chairs. Breakfast was excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rio spot Ipanema, and it exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The location was perfect, situated in the heart of Ipanema with an abundance of bars and restaurants just steps away. Whether I was lounging on the beach or exploring the vibrant neighborhood, the accommodation provided the ideal base for my adventures..

The highlights of this property are the shared steam room and the rooftop pool, which offers nice views and is usually very quiet.

I was already in Rio de Janeiro for a few days while searching for a new place to stay. I had Bossa Nova Ipanema on my favourite list and spontaneously went there one afternoon to check availability and see if I could view a room. The reception crew was exceptionally friendly and showed me the hotel and a room. I booked and stayed at Bossa Nova Ipanema for a week. I very much enjoyed my stay there – great staff and location.

Fantastic location right behind Ipanema beach, good access to grocery stores and shops. Excellent staff on reception. Spacious lounge area, and well equipped kitchen - maybe items a little old. Great, hot shower, and air con in bedroom and lounge. Small veranda, with slight sea view, and mountains views. Nice pool, small gym. Easy checkin and good entrance. The property is right at the end of a T intersection but does have a little area for cars to pull up and let you out. Good wifi.

There’s no city like Rio and this hotel has the best rooftop ever. I was speechless and I saw the view. truly unbelievable. Service was perfect, hotel spotless and I couldn’t recommend this property enough.

This hotel is absolutely stunning and a hidden gem, true depiction of a boutique hotel. The terraces, the greenery, the decorations. A beautiful villa on a hill with a fantastic rooftop & pool turned into a hotel, helpful staff, good breakfast, I loved everything about this (shabby) chic hotel. Rooftop is 5* Lots of steps! To the hotel lobby, to the rooms, to the rooftop, ...but thats the price for the dreamy views and worth the energy. Secluded quiet location, located on a steep hill but Uber gets there easily, no issues at all. Close to Ipanema and away from all the hustle & bustle. I would love to stay again !

Number 1 is the service! We have booked an ocean view room with access to Fairmont Gold lounge and we’re upgraded to junior suite. Stunning views from balcony!
