Hotels near Spain Square, Rio de Janeiro

Great breakfast, clean and well organized with some exceptional human being working there. If you like to wake up with a smile and feel happy about your accommodation, this is the place to stay. With reserved seats and umbrella on the beach you just need to relax and have fun. We will surely stay here again if ever step foot in Rio!

The location is excellent. The facilities were brilliant. We loved that the hotel provides beach items that you can use and return free of charge.

Value for money and great location

The people working there were so polite, helpful and smiling. Food was excellent with lot of care and cleanliness. Room was very clean and comfortable

Everything was fine. Excellent location

Comfortable rooms, good breakfast and really friendly and helpful staff.

Everything, really. I know it sounds strange.

Hotel design, staff, breakfast

The highlights of this property are the shared steam room and the rooftop pool, which offers nice views and is usually very quiet.

The two women working at the reception during the day were very helpful.

Very clean and cool stuff, nice breakfast

I had a small, cramped room without windows, but it was still worth it. The hotel is located only 550 metres from the fabled Copacabana Beach (yay!). The outdoor pool on the top floor was quite nice but rather small. I enjoyed having a hearty versatile breakfast down at the hotel restaurant, as well as having delicious Brazilian specialties for lunch and dinner at fairly affordable prices to boot.

We had a really nice and clean room, with all the facilities we needed. The staff was really helpful and the location is perfect for the tourist area. The breakfast was great, full of different choices and brazilian type of food as well. I don’t really understand most of the bad reviews, maybe we were lucky but we had a great experience there.

The hotel design is beautiful, it also has a fantastic location with beach service included (super Comfortable). We also booked a personal trainer session which was great and tailored to our need :). The pool and the terrace on the rooftop was just the cherry on (a already delicious) cake!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rio spot Ipanema, and it exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The location was perfect, situated in the heart of Ipanema with an abundance of bars and restaurants just steps away. Whether I was lounging on the beach or exploring the vibrant neighborhood, the accommodation provided the ideal base for my adventures..

The accommodation exceeded expectations. It’s located close to Ipanema Beach on a hillside—walking up can be a bit of a challenge, but it’s absolutely worth it for the views. You get far more in return: a unique perspective over the city that you wouldn’t have from a typical beachfront stay. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the panorama is impressive. From the terrace you can see Copacabana and Sugarloaf Mountain, while the rooftop pool and bar offer a wide view over both Ipanema and Copacabana. The staff and the owner are friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, this is a distinctive hotel in Rio where you can experience a more authentic, local atmosphere. I would recommend it.

++++ Staff & service, outstanding from everyone ++++ Location +++ Room +++ Food & Rooftop

Great location Clean and groovy

Great location, good breakfast, the staff here make this place my go to place to stay in Rio !

Directly on the beach with an amazing view on Ipanema, the Christ, the Mountain, and the favela. We enjoyed the restaurants, the spa, the pools, live music. The staff is super nice and they help with anything, taxi service available any time.
