We were hiking part of the ECT and they very kindly stored our bag for us and later, helped store our bag when we’d had a flight delay. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. Cannot recommend this accommodation more highly.

This is an impressive building - allow plenty of time to see...
This is an impressive building - allow plenty of time to see three museum galleries and the art galleries. Also make time to eat or have a drink in the restaurant with its fantastic views. The Rooms is free to enter on Fridays 6-9pm. (this might be summer period only) Also there is Shakespeare production in the summer which you need to buy a ticket for.

Hotel was very clean. Staff were friendly and accomodating. I traveled with 4 kids and the pool was a big hit. The rooms were quiet and comfortable and cleaned well.

The staff were very friendly and made the check-in/check-out process seamless. The hotel was super clean, bright and the rooms were comfortable and large. The location was perfect, it was close to the highway, close to my medical appointment and great for shopping. The hotel has become the only place I will stay when traveling to St. John's. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

I had a good stay overall at this 3-star hotel in downtown. The location is very convenient, close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful during my stay. The manager was also professional and responsive.

The location is great, the restoration of 1840s building into a boutique hotel is pretty cool. The rooms are neat...exposed brick wall, spacious room and bath...friendly staff.

I stayed one night at the Capital Hotel in St. John’s. On the positive side, the rooms are spacious, and everything worked as expected. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the airport, which is great if you have an early flight.

There is great attention to detail with the cleanliness of the rooms. The housekeeping team are exceptional, always offering a warm hello and making you feel welcome. The beds are very comfortable and I like that the showers are well equipped with re-fillable bottles (I personally prefer this in hotels over the mini bottles, well done for having this environmentally conscious option).

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are exceptional. John at the front desk called our room after we checked in to see if everything was ok and did we need anything . WOW!! That’s is amazing, we have never experienced that before and we have stayed at a LOT of hotels. This is the best EVER. They take care of the things that matter 🥰

This is a great hotel in St. John's. The location is excellent, parking is easy. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the rooms are modern and clean.

We enjoyed this accommodation very much. It's nicer than just a hotel room. To stay in a historic home and share a breakfast area daily with other guests, it was enjoyable and pleasant. The staff treated us very well. The rooms all have a different decor and the common areas are full of charm.
