Apart from our lake view room, the location, the bar and restaurant, the spa gym and free laundry facilities. Most importantly the staff were magnificent!

The family-run Aparthotel Familie Hugenschmidt is located in the charming Seefeld quarter of Zürich, just a 3-minute walk from the green banks of Lake Zürich and a 5-minute tram ride from the centre.

The owner of the hotel was lovely and the hotel itself was very clean, cozy and the location couldn't be better situated. I chose the economy room with the shared bathroom (as described on the website) and was very pleased with my choice. The toilet and shower that where shared were very clean and I never even met another guest using the shower - so no wait time at all. The room is equipped with a sink, a hairdryer, a bathrobe, a microwave, a small fridge, a ventilator for hot summer nights and an adapter for those who forgot that Switzerland has different power outlets than e.g. austria (I'm speaking of myself.. I forgot that 😅). There is a busstation right in front of the hotel and it's only a short walk by foot to the lake. All in all it was a great stay and I'm looking forward to visiting the Aparthotel from family Hugenschmidt again 😊

Alma Hotel was a fabulous hotel with lovely old rooms with ,modern twist only 15 mins walk from old town. A perfect hotel near the lake with a ladies only wellness and yoga area. They even had a guest kitchen where you could store food in the fridge and prepare meals or snacks. Quite eco friendly with an honesty bar for drinks in reception and 24hr coffee machine in the restaurant. The only downside is that after my massage there isn’t a changing room or shower to use so when on the day of check out to get a massage it’s awkward. Apart from that tiny issue I would highly recommend this hotel in Zurich. Also a roof top terrace that would be fabulous in good weather!

Had a short yet amazing stay in this hotel. Loved the design of the room and super helpful staff! and breakfst was amazing.
